Our Backgrounds

After receiving my PhD in Psychology from The George Washington University, I had a successful career as a business executive, the last ten years of which I was co-founder and executive vice president of an international management consulting, research and education firm. Our clients were senior executives of some of the world’s largest companies. Much of our work involved change management. In March of 2006, I decided it was time to make significant changes in my own life, including leaving the corporate world. High on my list was finding a way to “give back” in a personal, direct, and high impact way that fit with my background and interests – but now focused on helping to change one life at a time.

Then Brain Integration Technique came into my life in a compelling and unexpected way. In January of 2007, many of the changes in my personal life had settled, and I had the strong realization that the time had come to start giving back. The very next day, I received a call from an old friend in Santa Fe who said she had just had a life changing experience with something called Brain Integration Technique and felt a strong urge to call and tell me about it. After hearing the details of her experience and reading online about BIT, I called my teacher’s office to see when the next semi-annual prerequisite training would be held. Amazingly, the answer was “Monday.” So the very next week I rescheduled a trip to Florida and instead was sitting in a classroom in Boulder, Colorado, beginning to learn the skills needed to become one of the first 12 Brain Integration Technique Practitioners in the United States.

After spending 2007 learning BIT from Susan McCrossin, I knew I had found my calling. I founded Prescott Brain Integration later that year, and since then I have had the deeply rewarding experience of working with over 500 clients, from all over the United States. I feel such joy and satisfaction in sharing the gifts of brain integration with my clients, and seeing the often immediate and dramatic changes it makes in their lives, and the lives of their families.

I worked as an educator and advocate for the underserved for over two decades. My motivation has always been to assist individuals and groups in overcoming barriers to success as they see it. From my work in the US Peace Corps to leading development initiatives in the Non-Profit sector, I am consistently inspired by people’s capacity for transformation and change.

I was introduced to the world of alternative medicine through my own healing crisis in 2004. What felt like an unworkable situation became the catalyst for a direct experience of the body’s innate wisdom and my own capacity for healing. We all have that capacity and I’m driven to facilitate that discovery for others. Brain Integration Technique is an exceptional tool for helping you explore what’s possible.
