Our Backgrounds

Lynn’s Background

AAfter receiving my PhD in Psychology from The George Washington University, I had a successful career as a business executive, the last ten years of which I was co-founder and executive vice president of an international management consulting, research and education firm. Our clients were senior executives of some of the world’s largest companies. Much of our work involved change management. In March of 2006, I decided it was time to make significant changes in my own life, including leaving the corporate world. High on my list was finding a way to “give back” in a personal, direct and high impact way that fit with my background and interests – but now focusing on helping to change one life at a time.

Then Brain Integration Technique came into my life in a compelling and unexpected way. In January of 2007, within 48 hours of realizing that I was ready to move into whatever new experience this might be, I received a call from an old friend in Santa Fe who said she had just had a life changing experience with something called Brain Integration Technique and felt a strong urge to call and tell me about it. After hearing the details of her experience and reading online about BIT, I called my teacher’s office to see when the next semi-annual prerequisite training would be held. Amazingly, the answer was “Monday.” So the very next week I rescheduled a trip to Florida and instead was sitting in a classroom in Boulder, Colorado, beginning to learn the skills needed to become one of the first 12 Brain Integration Technique Practitioners in the United States.

After spending 2007 learning BIT from Susan McCrossin, I knew I had found my new calling. I founded Prescott Brain Integration later that year, and since then I have had the deeply rewarding experience of working with hundreds of clients, from all over the United States. I feel such joy and satisfaction in sharing the gifts of brain integration with my clients, and seeing the often immediate and dramatic changes it makes in their lives, and the lives of their families. My number in Prescott, Arizona, is (928) 771-0602

P.S.  If you are looking for Samati Lynn Keehan, I changed my name to Lynn Leu after marrying Mark Leu!

Laura’s Background

I come from three generations of educators. In following the family tradition, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1993 from Prescott College. During a 14-year career with Prescott Unified School District, I taught developmentally delayed children, gifted education and fourth grade. After retiring from the district in 2007, I stayed involved with teaching through volunteer work with an environmental education program.

I was introduced to Brain Integration Technique (BIT) in May of 2009. I was moved by the profound possibilities this technique provides for children with ADD, ADHD and dyslexia. I remember so well the frustration parents felt when they were honestly looking for answers because their child couldn’t focus or pay attention in class, learn their spelling words or math facts, or had difficulties with reading, and their pediatrician kept recommending medication.  BIT has proven to be the perfect alternative to drugs and has no side effects.

The excitement I feel having found this technique has changed my life. I so enjoy helping children overcome their learning difficulties and find success in school and in life.  My number in Prescott, Arizona is 928-445-0904.
